WW2 German Field Telephone Equipment… Look Closely Before You Buy

Someone bought an “authentic WW2 German field telephone.” A Feldfernsprecher 33 (FF33). In reality, it’s an FF33, but the handset is postwar and of unknown origin. Someone even wired a FF33 plug into the handset cord so it would plug into the telephone… But, the handset doesn’t work.

So, the proper fix for this would be to go through the added expense of buying an FF33 handset.
